Charlotte Home Upgrade Guide is built around one idea: plan the project before you hire the contractor. We began with storage — closets, pantries, garages, mudrooms, cabinetry — because those are the most contained, best-return upgrades a home can get, and because we can verify the local company we profile. We will add sections such as built-ins, garage systems and home offices as we can write them well, and we will not add unrelated categories for search volume.
